Villas Affection and Beloved - Rosewood Resort Little Dix Bay, Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

We worked with wonderful clients to turn two Hurricane Irma wrecked properties into newly transformed spaces. These villas were not only second Caribbean homes for our clients and their guests but also additions to the Rosewood Resort Little Dix Bay rental pool.  Both villas sit next to each other and whilst being individual properties in their own right, flow together as one when needed.

Working with both the clients anxious to create a relaxed comfortable harmonious retreat we also needed to decorate with the Rosewood aesthetic in mind.  Both properties were being included for rental for hotel guests and needed to be cohesive within the family of brands’ properties. Therefore both the clients as well as Rosewood management needed to confirm schemes, colourways and furniture selection.

House Design was involved through conception of hard finishes and colour schemes through furniture selection and layering with decorative accessories.  It was important that the spaces looked and felt relevant to the Caribbean and we wanted to keep the schemes light and airy whilst retaining the elegance and comfort worthy of one of the foremost Island resorts in the Caribbean.  Echoing the colours of the surrounding scenery we utilised soft blues and creams bringing in punches of colour with decor and soft furnishings.   Natural woods along side clean painted colours and sympathetic art work complimenting the scheme came together with a nod to the eclectic style that Rosewood Resorts are known for.
